We are helping Pacific Smiles on its takeover by Crescent Capital-owned National Dental Care. We have helped in determining the special dividend to be paid to shareholders and we are working with the Australian Taxation Office to obtain a class ruling for shareholders.

We are advising an accounting firm on strategies to handle a voluntary disclosure to the Australian Taxation Office on tax matters affecting a high net wealth client.

We advised certain executives of a publicly listed company in understanding and managing the tax exposures arising from a poorly implemented employee share scheme with a rapidly declining share price and restrictions on the employees' ability to sell their stock.
